Memorial Trees with Plaques

Any tree orders from 1st February 2024 will now be planted from November 2024

By gifting or buying a memorial tree and plaque from Tithe Green, you can create a lasting and environmentally-friendly memorial to a lost friend or family member on a unique protected site that supports local ecosystems and biodiversity and provides an important habitat for all kinds of wildlife.

All our trees are native to the local area, while our memorial plaques are carved from natural Welsh slate. These are the trees that you can choose from:

Once you have selected this option and checked out, you will receive an email with a link to a form to fill out with the necessary details for your plaque. All plaques will be digitally shared by email for review and approval, prior to your final memorial plaque being produced. Trees and plaques can be purchased at any time but planting takes place between November and February each year, as this gives the tree the best start in life.

Please note that our plaques require approximately eight weeks to create once approved.

Eco-friendly memorial tress & plaques

Tithe Green has been offering eco-friendly burial and memorial solutions for over 30 years. With beautiful woodland and wildflower meadow sites located in the East Midlands area close to Nottingham, Leicester and Peterborough, we aim to help preserve existing habitat and nature – such as woodlands, meadows, orchards and farmland – using shallow graves, biodegradable products and eco-friendly memorial plaques.

When we plant trees in remembrance of lost friends and family, you and your loved ones can give back to nature and offset carbon emissions. The woodland area where your tree is planted will encompass several years of planting and will then be allowed to grow into a more mature wooded area.
